This show kicked ass, small intimate venue located in the heart of oakland. Akron/Family always brings it live and this is a pretty smoking recording since i got there early to get clamped up in the sweet spot about 15 feat from the stacks. Great audience as well, not to chatty. Most of the shows in San Francisco I attend are normally filled with people that only seem to come there to drink and have loud conversations with their bf. Not at this show!!! Lots of dancing and singing along and bringing it to a dead silence! I simply cant wait to see these guys again!

So I kinda forgot i even recorded this show but this is one of the reasons i like to tape the opening acts even if im not very into them. So this is one of those bands i taped and never checked out the recording until almost a year after it happened. Im glad i tracked this down in my mess of unlabeled recording files and did this quick mix today. Sound is pretty good for be recorded in a very shitty sounding room. Short but sweet set.

So i have seen these guys a few times in the past and didn't really get into it but this time around something clicked and i now realize i was missing something because this band is fucking awesome! Had some complications with venue staff so the first track is very incomplete and i didn't add the microphone source into the mix due to that being even more incomplete.

They are on the road right now with Circa Survive and will be touring with Coheed and Cambria soon as well.
